Wine and Ice Festival Chateau Chantal — Chateau Chantal, drawing from over 30 years of expertise in ice wine-making and hospitality, hosts its annual Ice Wine Festival every last Saturday of January. Renowned for its natural sweetness and fruity notes akin to a fine Riesling, this dessert wine offers flavors of apricot, caramel, and baked apple, perfectly balanced in sweetness. To honor this exquisite wine, festival activities range from family-friendly snowman building and ice sculptures to cozy outdoor fire pits offering roasted treats. Visitors can explore the winery’s walking trail through snowshoeing or skiing, and are encouraged to bring their own gear to revel in the winter vineyard experience. The festival concludes with a multi-course Ice Wine education dinner on Saturday, featuring a cellar tour and insights into the winemaking process.
